Dorud! (Hello!)

I’m Pontia (silent ‘i’), the teacher behind My Persian Corner, a space where I can share my Iranian heritage. My mission is simple: to impart my experiences, knowledge, and insight into a misunderstood country through interesting, educational, and practical posts to dispel misconceptions and stereotypes about Iran and its people and culture. Here, I’ll write about Persian words and phrases as well as give tons of cultural explainers.

My posts are currently being offered for free as I explore what I will share on this platform. If anything I have written in the past has been helpful or you feel like you can and would like to offer some encouragement by becoming a paid subscriber, know that I am incredibly grateful for your support.
